:: time to recuperate ::

*blows off dust & cobwebs*

Yeah, you guessed it right.. I got my passport finally!! so me & mummy went back to Singapore to pay MakTok a visit, thus the absence from blogging world for quite some time now.. Unfortunately, Daddy couldn't join us cos he obviously is busy with work. He said, he has to work hard so that he can get promoted faster. Wah, Daddy..I certainly hope your hopes of getting promoted real soon will come true so you can belanja me on those cute pretty OShKosh shoes that we saw at OneUtama that day :)

However, Daddy took a day off to send me & Mummy back to Mummy's hometown - Singapore. He didn't dare put us on a bus to Singapore, fearing that his girl (read : me - his darling daughter) will create a scene in the bus by either crying out loud, or by just being cranky the whole way to Singapore, thus causing his other girl (read : his darling wife) cry all the way to SG..kwakwakwa

We took off quite late as Daddy had to stop by his office to settle something, and off we went.

I was pretty much a very good girl all the way. Maybe it's because I have been to SG before this, so..tak berapa heran lah, he he he!! Wey..I did enter Singapore last time, when Mummy was in her 28th week pregnancy, ohkay!!

Anyways, we stopped by at the R&R in Senawang. Mummy cooked Fried Macaroni that morning, so she & Daddy ate lunch while I munched on my Rice Crackers *yummmm*

Mummy said, nowadays it's much more relaxing when travelling by car, as there are many R&Rs around Malaysia. She also told me a story about when she was a child, my Almarhum Tok Ayah used to drive them when they went back to Kelantan for holiday (My MakTok was born Kelantanese, so you can say that I got that *fairness* from her side lah.. kwakwakwa). During those days, there was no R&Rs to begin with, so my Almarhum Tok Ayah had difficulties in finding a spot for them to relax & recuperate. Mummy said, Tok Ayah would try to find a nice cool spot, and they would all get out of the car, carrying with them food & drinks. They would relax, and Tok Ayah would usually take a short nap before continuing the journey. Mummy said, it wasn't as cozy & comfy as the R&Rs these days, but she had loads of fun each time travelling with her family.

Hm...I just wished I could have met my Tok Ayah.

Anyways...it's the same with me & my family.

At the R&R, Daddy had his smoke - it's his way of relaxing, Mummy says.

..while I was busy helping Mummy with lunch.

Mummy, you forgot to bring wet tissue lah!

After lunch, I saw something for the 1st time.

Eeeeewww...is that an Orange Anaconda, the one like in Animal Planet??

Owwhhh....so that's what they call a gardening hose, eh Mumy!!

Can I have one of those too, Mummy? Pretty pleaseee!!

Alaaaa!!...Can lah!! Fine..I'll ask Daddy for it..He never says No to me.. Hmph!

Daddy..buy for me an Orange Anaconda, can??

Well that's just great..He's lost in Smoke!..Pfftt!!

After an hour of ; resting : my Dad - playing : Me - Chasing me around : Mummy..
We continued our journey to SG.

But if you think you can see pics of me in SG, I am sorry to disappoint you. The 5 days in SG was very distressing for me. I refused to eat anything. I didn't have the appetite. I noticed that Mummy cried every night for 5 nights straight when she put me to bed. I guess she was so worried for me. I'm sorry that I caused u so much misery, Mumy!.. But I guess I missed Dady so much..

Well, I guess I better leave that part to Mummy to tell you all some other time laa k..

Right now, she is still recuperating from the holiday.. kwa kwa kwa

Tsk tsk tsk..my Poor Mummy!!
