:: The Number 2. ::
Now I know I keep repeating the same words over and over again each time the 14th comes, but I have to say it again.
TIME SURE DOES FLY BY.
There, I said it. Shoot me.
Can you believe it?
Today Hawra turns 22 months.
In exactly 2 months from now,
she's going to turn
2 .
As much as I am looking forward to the day, I am also dreading the fact that Hubs may not be able to join us on Hawra's big day. :(
Oh well. Too early to panic, innit?
aaaaanyway.
Alhamdulillah, Hawra is a healthy active toddler.
To date, she has only had flu about 3 times, and fever, erm, 3 times too?
Recently, she had a slight temperature because of teething.
She's quite a fussy eater, like she has always been.
Sometimes she would eat like there's no tomorrow, but sometimes she would simply clamp her mouth shut and refuse to eat anything we feed her.
Her vocab has also expanded, and I don't think I quite remember all the words she now knows. Some of the words that I do remember are: Mommy, Daddy, Mak (Hub's mum), Ma' To' (my mum), A-yah (Hub's Dad), Ka-kak (Kakak), Baby [points to herself :) ], Cat, Dog, Sheep-sheep (her fave soft toy-she adores it so much), lion, hoss (horse), fishie (fish), teddy, bunni (bunny), binky, blankie, shoe, socks, milk, yak (when she make poopoo), shee-shee, car, haa-gis (her huggies diapers), monkey, a-syik (nasi), eat, no, yes, o-kay, uh-oh...
there's quite a number more, but tak ingat ah!
Additional body parts she knows : Head, feet, bum
Me: baby, show me your bum. Hawra : (pats own diapered bum)
Current faves : Hi-5, Sesame Street (thank GOD for youtube) and *gasp* BARNEY!
Loves mirrors, helping me with the laundry (this always makes my heart melt!), playing dress up with me (yes, me. You should see her purse her lips when she sees me applying lipcolor. lol!), pose for the camera, (try to) sing along her fave tunes, and of course, dancing!
Speaking of fave tunes, in addition to the nursery rhymes cd she will ask me to play for her everyday without fail (more than 10x weh!), she has one current favorite song.
One day, we were tuning in to Fly.fm, and Fergie's Big Girls Don't Cry was on air, and she sang along! Well, not the whole song, of course. Just the "Don't Cry" part.
But it sounded more like "Don Kwaaai...don kwaaaiii" Hahahaha!! :)
Am I overdoing it? Too much information eh? :)
